Finding your next great podcast to listen to can be challenging, but it doesn’t have to be. And if you’re a fan of hearing voices from the global Black Diaspora, or want to hear something new, it can feel like finding a needle in a haystack.

For over five years, AudioDiaspora has introduced narrative-changing creators to new fans and amplified their work on our platform through interviews. We’re now reviewing their shows via our new home. Sign up to discover podcast gems in my newsletter here.

I’m obsessed with audio. And storytelling. I grew up hearing stories from my elders, seeing stories in records, and reading stories. I’ve built a successful career in audio as a radio and podcasting executive. Now, I guide creators in using audio to tell their stories and engage with their audiences. That also means I listen to a lot of podcasts!

And guess what — I’m passionate about amplifying shows that center perspectives from Africa, the UK, the Caribbean, and the US.

I’m not alone—Black audiences are increasingly listening to podcasts and engaging with the shows they love deeply. I’m also part of a group of listeners who appreciate hearing shows from across the diaspora and are committed to creating a global conversation.

Because of my work, I’m often asked for podcast recommendations. Rather than sharing them with a select few, I’m bringing them to you, along with a few creator interviews, through AudioDiaspora.
